Memories of Barbados.
Not very often does one come across authentic adventurers who have a fearless spirit of adventure and an endearing sense of fun. This was Rex Wotton, a sailor, climber, scuba diver, and a great sport. Rex Wotton managed the West Coast Watersports center at Coral Reef hotel. It was just a short walk from Settlers Beach. They took hotel guest diving and on sailing trips along the coast. He was an expert seafarer trained by the Royal Merchant Navy in all matters of navigation, and marine work. Rex was among the most captivating Rogues in Paradise. He had an infectious sense of fun and used it to win over every situation.
Cruising to St. Vincent with a friend at just 11 years old testifies to his sense of adventure. He invited others to participate him in capers and outrageous adventures, making it all appear safe, easy, and fun. Generally daring, he took extreme yet calculated risks.
