How to compare Dupont Delrin and Acetal Copolymer in Sheet and Rods

Dupont Delrin is the best plastic for turning on a CNC lathe lathe. It’s very easy to turn, but it requires slower speeds. I have used this material to make Scottish small pipes chanters. I have bought numerous items from Industrial Plastic. The smaller pieces always ship quickly and everything has been well packed. I’ve never had an issue with an order.
Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are exceptionally tough and easily machinable, as they have very similar physical properties. They appear the same, but in practical uses there are some differences that may make one preferable than the other. It also depends on your application. As with all plastic materials, make sure to check the typical properties data sheet for the applicable properties you may need for your application.
